This is artist Deborah Colotti. In 2009 she installed ‘Box of Time: From Bones to Barbie’ on the playa, in 2010 ‘Inside the Box of Time’. For 2012 she’ll be setting up ‘Breast Stop’, and with three other artists ‘Womb with a View’. For 2011 her art project was this interactive bit of performance art. The merit badges on her sash were hilarious and all very appropriate to Burning Man. Wish I’d got a photo, but you snooze, you…etc. Deborah’s Girl Scout activities did go a bit beyond passing out apples. She was also earning badges for “burning shit and having sex and doing fun adult things.”
